i agree that the original vocals are great and pretty luckily i downloaded the first iteration of this album onto my phone from apple music, which for some reason doesn't appear to update the tracks so long as you both add the music to your library + add it locally to your device

that being said, i think this is a matter similar to how leaks affect our perceptions of final products n stuff. we know the song one way, so obviously we can tell where the new version differs from the old. however, basically everyone who newly listens to the album from today onwards will never know there was a previous version and thus will never have anything to compare it to or notice differences between
