Y'all don't know what y'all want

I love this album SO much, but here’s why I feel like some ppl hate it:

1. Their expectations were too high. After TMZ interview, where Ye started he hasn’t made a “true Ye” album since MBDTF/WTT, everyone assumed he would make that epic music again. However, that was not the case. (See 2.)

2. The production is not maximal, leading people to believe that it was “rushed/unfinished.” (Which is false & not true imo. Does production have to be maximal, and have a million things going on, for it to be considered completed?)

3. The lyrics. Alot of ppl are not religious, so him singing/rapping about Jesus is not appealing. Also, ppl were expecting MBDTF/WTT level bars. They didn’t get that, so therefore the lyrics are “trash.” (I think these lyrics are, at least, on calibur with 808s/TLOP imo, maybe even Grad )
