I think Kanye is using the Christian platform to absolve whatever sins he thinks hes committed and to "cure" his mental illness.

OR He's using it to advertise, by trying to make something not cool, cool. He did the same thing with Donald Trump, and he realized that didn't work, which is probably why he didn't drop Yandhi. Kanye needs some grain to go against, else he doesn't know how to make music, in this case, its christianity, and he's using controversy from that to get his name everywhere.
