aLIENMBDTF was really influental too if you think about it. I always felt MBDTF was a crucial point in the history of Hip-Hop. After that album more and more artists started to take a more artistical approach to their music. It opened the gate for super artistical songs like Runaway.
True, MBDTF can be classified as "genreless" music.
Everyone respected how polished & well crafted it was outside of the Hip-Hop genre.
S***'s not just God-Level rap music. It's God-Level music period.
