SufiCaughtWreckEveryone who wasn't on crunk/Neptune's/Timbaland beats was doing chipmunk samples in 04 cuz of CD.
He def changed the content of the music and now the top rappers are not gangsta acts as a direct influence. We are just close to the 808s radiance now because CD influence became just a part of how things were. So much so you don't even notice it. That's why I still gotta say CD influence is his greatest and 808s right after.

MBDTF was really influental too if you think about it. I always felt MBDTF was a crucial point in the history of Hip-Hop. After that album more and more artists started to take a more artistical approach to their music. It opened the gate for super artistical songs like Runaway.
