shaleirosePretty much what was expected, none of them liked it.
They said him being born again in Christianity is just a product of a manic phase of his bipolar disorder rather than him actually wanting to deepen his faith in God.
They felt like he was talking to himself throughout the album rather than talking to others to share and spread the gospel.
And also they wanted him to go deeper into why he was all of a sudden dedicating his life to God because they saw it as him just latching onto someone or something to try to fix his personal problems like he did with Trump last year (their words not mine).
Their overall problem was that they didn’t feel he was being genuine and that the album was the result of a Yeezus type situation where he was upset that the fashion industry wouldn’t accept him so he made an album whining about it, but in this instance it’s the Christian community that wouldn’t accept him so he made an album whining about it.
They complaining about Kanye talking to himself of being preachy but I'm sure they would've complained even more if he was being preachy
