For many people in the church right now this is their anchor lp. A kid who is 7 years old is listening to this record. He's that only one on the school bus & he doesn't have much. But he has the Ye lp to keep him company to drown out the outside world that can be difficult for a child.

I know you don't get that, mab. But trust me on this, an album like this makes a difference to that person who is going through it. They hear Ye and they see a man who stood up to make something he believed in even if it costs him everything for the support base.

Sooo that's why an album like this with content like this means something to someone who is alone listening to this in their own headspace.

Hence it isn't garbage even if the music could be proven to be valueless. But not for that person where that's their one they reach for,. The other thing, this is the lp a kid can play for his family because it has no vulgar language.

imagine someone on the brink or struggling with their life hearing God Is for the first time, just beautifully inspiring

I know personally ye music has helped me in dark times, especially 808s
