u could shuffle and it would still make sense
I think this is an album that is meant to be played from front to back which is a rare thing these days
yeah this album is Kanye's most.... I don't want to say 'focused', but I think it's his most structured project. These songs are all good but if they were standalone they might feel too slight. Being in the context of this album and hearing it all in a row makes the songs feel stronger individually because of the way they work off one another.
And when Kimye actually get black people freed, they use every last remaining brain cell they have to give the credit to someone else.
Exactly. These people think theyre all so unique and woke when in reality its all surface level groupthink garbage. Kanye is using his platform to promote god, love and positivity and people are still trying to s*** on him for it
If Calabasas is the Drake album, keep that s***
Also, isn't Love Everyone the album that became Yandhi and eventually JIK?
Love Everyone is proto-ye, and I dislike Drake but all ye is welcome

Yo, at first I hated your positivity but it’s grown on me. Praise be

Every Hour to Selah transition sure tries its hardest to make that not be the case

THIS MAN FOUND THE LORD
Those hallelujahs on Selah are powerful
big fan of all the stuff going on quietly in the bg there - the quiet keys, claps, and strings. super engaging.
