i give it a 8 or a 7, there’s some weak tracks ion personally like but they’re not bad ya know, i like it, it’s great. he def came through

Have listened to the album maybe around 15 times in total now since it came out. This is easily his best solo album since Yeezus. I'm not at all religious, not Christian, I have my own little agnostic spiritual views/beliefs that have come to develop myself but I have no issue with the Jesus/God focus of the album. That is the one true thing that has people hating on the album.

The beats and production are classic. But something that is Christian focused in our current culture for some reason makes a lot of people very uncomfortable. Trying to cling to previous leaked versions because the Christian themes are too much for people handle.

Just seems like a silly reason to knock something. Not allowing yourself to appreciate the art of it all. I had no issue enjoying Matisyahu back when he first came out despite him and his music being influenced by him being a hardcore hasidic jew.
