I agree. Did it actually get remixed tho?
I just know the s*** sounds better on Spotify

whats your final consensus on the album, my man?
it's still divisive, it's just not divisive in the way that Yeezus was where critics ate the s*** up but fans were like
, this is the opposite, doesn't really affect anything imo
Yeeea that’s what I’m thinking the of opposite Yeezus reception
whats your final consensus on the album, my man?
f***ing classic, might be my favorite kanye album
Yeeea that’s what I’m thinking the of opposite Yeezus reception
critics been wrong before
Ah so it’s one of those “the people love it but the critics hate it” kinda like the opposite of Yeezus (I love that album as well this just an example)
the critics from the media are divisive too, NME and telegraph are loving it
guardian and the independent saying this is a mid album
so yes, it's something in between
critics been wrong before
Critics loved suicide squad but that movie sucked
Critics loved suicide squad but that movie sucked
that movie was panned to death, no?

Kanye, you could stop working right now and never do anything again and your family wouldn't starve for at least 200 years lol
this stands out as easily the worst verse of his entire career to me. He's lucky On God is so hard that this idiocy doesn't kill the entire song.
follow god, water, selah, on god, god is, hands on, use this gospel like almost every single song on here is amazing
shouldve been longer tho
no
i didn't mind the christian-ness of the album tbh
it's mostly just sub-par music. Bad transitions, no clear themes, a few good songs, bunch of meh songs too, no real direction. For example, Water/Everything We Need, are fine together, but they dont mesh that well with some of the other songs on the album
If you don’t like the album because of the lyrical themes or the message that’s one thing, but I genuinely don’t understand how someone can listen to songs like Selah, Follow God, On God, Everything We Need, God Is, and Hands On and say that they don’t sound good.
People are bashing this album for three reasons:
1. It’s 100% a gospel album
2. The short runtime
3. It’s popular to hate Kanye West in 2019
