well this isn't entirely true, as evidenced by some replies to this idea. every mix isn't a different artistic decision because there's some standardized idea of a "clear" mix, which most people conflate with being "good"

its the lack of unique artistic direction that makes mixing which deviates from the normal seem "bad" to people. almost ironic

for sure, this is still better than most artist entire discogs
i think we just have a pablo situation where some songs could get minor tweaks here and there
pablo was finished when it came out, just a little rough around the edges

he's working with a company to pair the record with a device that lets you play with the instruments and vocals

as much as I like this album, this would get old if he only made gospel albums from this point. I like never knowing what to expect with Ye eras, just don't know how he could get away with going to making a normal rap album after this
