Y'all realize that every mix is a different artistic decision right...? Like all mixes aren't supposed to sound crystal clear radio quality right? I feel like some of you think everything is supposed to sound the same and held to the same standard of good mixing lol

Great mixing is when someone’s voice is how you would hear them in real life. That’s the general basis most engineers go by. And some artists make bad decisions so it’s time we put the stigma that artists are untouchable beings that shouldn’t be told “no”
