JIK lowkey better than TLOP if both are played on laptop speakers
i like JIK a lot but no. not even close
Overall i like the album, but if Ye really only makes christian music, i think he should stop, or else he will end up like Snoop
For real God Is makes me cry half the time i listen to it
bro same
ghost town feels
Yeah On God is decent lyrically. And I don't mind that there's an extremely strong religious theme to the album (obviously it's called Jesus is King lol) but I just wished he would've done more along the lines of Selah, Follow God and On God. Those are songs that show him relating all of this to his life and and are more interesting because he's vulnerable and introspective to a degree. That's what his best songs have always been lyrically. I really wish there was more of that. JIK has so much potential but it falls short imo
That's fair, can't really argue against that lol.
There's something I like on every song though, whether that be the production, lyrics or ye's delivery.
My only problem is the track order. Certain songs blend into each other bether than what Ye chose.
They said you can rap about anything except for Jesus
That means guns, sex, lies, video tape
But if I talk about God my record won't get played
Not getting talked about much but Every Hour is a really great f***ing intro to the album.
People say the songs are too short smh... how long do you usually pray for
get ready to get sad when you hear the credits
Just finished, I don’t know why you said this? What’d I miss?
The usual people b****ing but its mostly positive on twitter
s*** was rough on the first couple of listens... but now

One of my favorite things about Kanye is the different direction of his albums. One gospel album is fine. New direction next time please.
Has anyone heard the Master rip from Tidal or is everyone listening it through Spotify, Apple Music, etc?
I'm listening to the Tidal rip with headphones and I'm not getting any of the mastering problems people are hearing.
yeah i get that. but if u think all mine or yikes are better than this album we're not on the same wavelength.
I think those songs are more memorable. I don't believe that people will even care about this album a month from now, let alone years.
You can all argue this album is good. Fine, opinion is subjective. I would disagree... But, the real question is: will it be remembered? I think not, although tell me if I'm wrong.
It just seems like Kanye's not saying much on this one. He watered down his sound IMO. Trying too hard to make everything clean.
