Ofc they do. I'm probably one of the biggest Ye fans, from his early production work on Jay, Face albums etc and to his designer s***. But this is just unacceptable, we expect a good mix from a major label artist, no cap this hurt my ears pissed my whole mood off lol. What's even crazier is that some leaks sounded better, had more "oomph" than this

YANDHIKSG can still be done with Kanye where he is tho. There was minimal cursing on a lot of those songs and a lot of uplifting s***. Album even ends with Kanye singing "lord shine your light on me save me please"
Its gonna have to be a common ground but can still work easily

agree that the mixing is bad, but it's still a 7,5/10, better than ye at least
i wish Kanye was still the perfectionist that he was before, but oh well
My sentiment so far. I wish there were more songs that hit hard with me right away, but I’ll give it a chance to grow on me after a few listens before reviewing.
Oct 25, 2019Underwhelming but this is definitely better than Ye. The middle of the album is aggressively trash though. It's just a shame that the best tracks could definitely be improved. Not sure why he removed so many of the good elements from Chakras/Law of Attraction on Use This Gospel for example.

KimJongUnafter 4 listens i think the complaint about the lyrics is overstated. Closed on Sunday lyrics suck, Water verse is bad, and conceptually God Is shouldve been fleshed out some more (because otherwise its great); but other than that these lyrics range from passable to some of his best.
Closed on Sunday has some of the best lyrics on the project
