CartesianJesus Is King is what people claimed TLOP was. TLOP was dissonant track-to-track but that was the whole point with the which one // which one business. And virtually every single song had incredibly rich production, and all the lyrics were extreme in one way or another
This is just slapdash and lacks that richness imo
honestly I never viewed TLOP that way, but now that you mention it I totally see it. I'm kinda pissed at myself for not realizing that till now

where does it seem like it needs drums to you? Surely it would make the choir sound weaker and on things like Selah it would take away from the power of those hits we do get that work with Ye's vocal.
I could be missing some spots tho.
