about to start my 4th listen..... im really trying to stop hating as much, but its just terrible lol
People will come around to the album over time. Same thing with Pablo and Yeezus. I'm seeing more ye love today too.
Jesus Is King is what people claimed TLOP was. TLOP was dissonant track-to-track but that was the whole point with the which one // which one business. And virtually every single song had incredibly rich production, and all the lyrics were extreme in one way or another
This is just slapdash and lacks that richness imo
honestly I never viewed TLOP that way, but now that you mention it I totally see it. I'm kinda pissed at myself for not realizing that till now
4 listens and my head hurts man
WHen Kanye comes off this religious s*** in 6 months he's gonna make the nastiest album of all time
Man everyone from the listening sessions was hyping up Closed on Sundays like it was an anthem, s*** was snoozy :/
niggas really want 6ix9ine, nicki minaj, lil pump features over this
nice strawman
Bro jesus is lord was sounding fye why did it end lmao
For real I’m tight that was so short
Bro jesus is lord was sounding fye why did it end lmao
Finished version is in the credits of the movie i have no idea why its not on the album lmfao
Who told Ye no drums would be a good idea on some these songs???
Smh
where does it seem like it needs drums to you? Surely it would make the choir sound weaker and on things like Selah it would take away from the power of those hits we do get that work with Ye's vocal.
I could be missing some spots tho.
ok is getting kinda better with the first beer, but i will forever stay mad he cut the songs short
most divisive album??
Its his most controversial since yeezus, but I dont think its divisive cause most people are just not liking it
Selah is amazing. Some top quality production here. Arguably if it was a little less religious it would be one of his best works.
Listen to the leaked version, he was definitely on to something before he gospel-ified it
