it will get polarizing scores i think. majority bad because this album is rife with opportunity to rip on ye, and a minority of great praise. and then a fair amount of middle roaders too, but yeah def expect the mainstream reviewing of this to be that it's a poor work

Oct 25, 2019Whatever you think about Yeezus, it was fully realized and mixed well. Yeah, it had mixed reception on release - he had just come off one of the greatest albums of all time. It was bound to disappoint some people. But coming off Ye, this had to be trash juice to be disappointing. And I am extremely disappointed. At the mix, the lyrics, the song transitions... there are amazing ideas on this album, but it's like Kanye forgot how to make those ideas into 3-5 minute songs.
