That's where the disadvantages of open back come in. These are headphones that you really just use in your room. That's why I still have my m50's for planes and s***. Not only does sound from around you go into the headphones, the sound from your headphones comes right back out very clearly. That's an advantage and a disadvantage depending on how you use is. Since I just use them in my room, I like that I can still hear things around me if my volume isn't too high.
