It makes narcissists feel good that they can hound corporations to drop people and it feels like a moral victory for them, cause they don’t have much else going on for them. Kanye is sick, either talk about the importance of him getting help (cause obv he’s saying f***ed up s***) or ignore it. We actually have people itt throwing tantrums like toddlers ‘He’s a nazi!! He’s evil!! Spotify should remove him!!!’, and then someone drops a level headed claim like ‘oh, maybe he’s going a bit crazy?’ and all of a sudden that’s heretical.
Anyways, I don’t take much stock in most of what people say here as you’re all anonymous accounts, and I’m quite sure you don’t have voices irl so you want to get out whatever resentment you have on here.

Exactly, people don’t realize how dangerous it would be if this actually opened the floodgates of these streaming services having the power to censor or allow whatever it is they deem morally acceptable at the time.
If they don’t want to host any future Ye releases from here on out, that’s totally understandable.
But removing anything from 2004-now is a very bad and very dangerous idea

He’s not saying this in any of his music though, so Spotify has no legitimate reason to remove his currently released music.
Spotify has every right to not platform any future releases, but his currently released work has no grounds for removal
