I love Rina and Bree and XS my favourite rina song so I loved to see this happen
I got favourite songs where i listen to the remix more tbh.
Remixes are especially worth listening to with rappers.. There's so many classics. That's what wayne's classic mixtapes are a lot of the time.
It can just be a cool thing to keep a song going too. Or there's times like All the Way Up. Remy Ma's verse was cool on the original but when Hov hopped on it she wrote a new verse and outdid herself.

but weirdly i felt like selah did retain it's feeling despite becoming christian
how do you think ye feels? he's either forcing it cos he thinks a track like new body has good melodies/beat, or he's almost treating it like he would a nina sample and turning it into something completely removed from what the original was about. he could see it like that. Like Blood on the Leaves or Gold Digger. Like how he interpolated Stronger on On Sight or Wow on All Falls Down.
