for most of his career having non-traditional rollouts has helped ye's career
idk if this has still been the case for the last two cycles, but i get why he still moves like this. it's usually just made him bigger.
Even with Pablo everything apart from the Tidal deal (unless you care about tidal lool) was a great rollout in terms of building hype, making moments and putting out exciting content.
SPREAD MY WINGS

im not getting my hopes up after jik and yandhi, if it comes it comes if not its also good, praying for ye and his mental health
How do you even come up with that
look at the titles. a lot had commands in them like "add drums" or "rewrite"

like i want normal rollout ie to a graduation or LR
obvs i enjoy the drama around every ye rollout, but the last two have been so messy its not funny at least tlop was iconic in how he rolled it out

The only miss Kanye has had with rollouts was Ye
Everything else has been iconic
MBDTF was iconic, Yeezus was iconic, TLOP was iconic
Even JIK era Kanye was iconic
Where the f*** is Hurricane on the updated tracklist
Literally could be Kanye’s best song if he put a great verse on there

JIK era was horrendous lmfao
he just kept delaying it with his listening parties and by the time the actual project dropped every song was like 2 mins long

yeah i get what you mean
lowkey jesus is king did feel like a return to the pre-2018 kanye rollouts wise but i just think cos of the religious content and the reception to ye, the hype wasn't as high..
dropping an album, touring a literal church service and putting a nick knight-directed film in cinemas worldwide is a pretty mad rollout compared to most artists.
i think a lot would have to change in his life for us to get a Grad or LR kanye in how focused he was on his music career and production.

I think SS era can be added to JIK's tbh. Whole year was obviously aiming towards a christian Ye album and we have a Coachella show and viral weeks all the time
