Not that I personally care about the Kanye drama but
This is a really important thing for everyone to see. Kanye is exemplifying exactly what people who go through a divorce or toxic breakup experience.
At first they’re great, something about them is appealing. Then slowly you start to notice little things that are kinda weird but oh well, they’re just a little eccentric. Then you start seeing some red flags but you brush them aside because now you have a child together and they always makes up for it anyways. Then you start seeing constant red flags. They are controlling, manipulative, gaslights you, hypocritical, possessive, and sometimes seems unhinged. You try to stay because it’s what people tell you is best for the children but there’s no way crying every night wishing they’d be different is better. You finally get the courage to leave and suddenly they only care about the family “that you want to tear apart.” If you find another partner who is genuine and kind and makes you laugh, that’s the enemy now. That must be why you left. It couldn’t possibly have anything to do with their choices to emotionally and mentally abuse you.
So now, they love-bomb and do dramatic public gestures to prove they love you so you look bad when you deny them access to you again. But the truth is- even if you went back, they’d revert to their old ways. Those people need help, therapy, mental health professionals to guide them to better ways. That is NOT your job.
Kim is just trying to be a mother and have a healthy relationship. Kanye is going crazy trying to harass her.
This is actually very sad when you realize many women have to go through this and eventually many end up with needing a restraining order or even dead because their ex went insane over them leaving.
This is the point here. Stop posting Kanye doing narcissistic controlling s*** and saying “if it’s not this I don’t want it.” You DON’T want it, I promise.

I have to speak on this.
@KanyeWest has crossed a line into abuse.
And here’s the thing.
He’s a brilliant artist.
He sometimes says smart s***.
And makes good music.
But he has crossed a dangerous line that I personally find very problematic and is common with abusive men.
Let me explain it because this whole situation is a land mine.
1. Kanye and Kim are separated and Kim has filed for divorce.
2. Kanye has openly and publicly dated multiple women, including over the past month, while…
3. He has repeatedly threatened violence against a man Kim has seen.
4. And threatened the careers and names and reputations of good men and women connected to that man.
5. All in the name of his family.
But NONE of this helps Kanye’s family.
And so,
6. Kim literally texts him to tell him he has started to create a physically dangerous situation for them.
7. And he posts the text, with another meme of physical violence.
So let me tell you the ONLY other famous person I know that does this…
DONALD TRUMP.
Who memed about violence over and over.
And alluded to it over and over.
UNTIL people got violent.
It’s not funny.
At the root of it, is Kanye (and Trump’s) extreme narcissism. And his admitted problems with mental health.
And so what Kanye does, is post some truly toxic and dangerous stuff about his family, THEN:
8. Posts something smart and pro-Black in between dates with a new white woman.
9. And the smart pro-Black statement then buys him some time and grace for people to deal with his toxicity.
10. Then he’ll have people sing a Gospel song.
11. Then he’ll post and delete and post and delete veiled threats at Kim.
12. Then he’ll go live saying people don’t want him to see his kids - while ignoring the fact that he is so manic and unpredictable that anybody would be concerned about having him around. This pulls at the heartstrings of all of us who fight for Black fathers, but ignores troubling warning signs.
13. Then rinse and repeat. Gospel. Pro-Black statement. Followed by toxicity. Violent innuendo and memes. And weirdness. Rinse and repeat. Holy Lord, Shaun, you laid it out so perfectly well. It takes one with a deep sense of humanity to see the dangers Kanye is creating. They should put a restraining order on him. His family and friends should get him help asap. This is dangerous. People think this is funny, No it is not. It is dangerous and deadly. People need to take a step back and see the trauma and danger this man presents to his ex and whomever she is associated with. We don't want another OJ. Save this man from himself. Not when he does something dangerous and is held accountable, folks will play the race card. I love the fact that you are calling him out and putting him on notice. Nobody will defend him tomorrow as a “ black man” if he does anything stupid. To before warned is to be before harmed.
