I feel like Kids See Ghosts is only really respected as it is due to the improvements kanye made on that album.

Cudi already improved himself on Passion Pain and Demon Slayin' so regardless he didn't need the album.

I'd say of all people it was Ye who needed KSG.

I still don't think it's as good as everyone makes it out to be.

Cudi already admitted that it helped him out of his depression though

Kanye didn’t necessarily need it but it helped restore faith in him after ye

I’ve never felt like it’s any kind of form return for Cudi, it was Cudi helping Kanye lock in and make something special, but bc Cudi was so involved he also fit on it like a glove

Not a crazy classic by any means but still a great project in an era where I thought Kanye was finished
