Galaxy de list monseems he's just less concerned about making good music and more interested in being as controversial as possible. it kinda feels on purpose.. like in a way to spite his old, creative, perfectionist ways to just release and record absolute, unfinished, half-AI baked slop. The last 8 years have felt like one big self-sabotage.

Yeah Donda had its moments for sure and was a fun spectacle and showed he still had a great stage presence & an immaculate sense of design, but I don't necessarily attribute the success of the music to him as much. The guy had an absolute army of producers, musicians and writers working endlessly around the clock at his control and he performed less % wise than any other album he's released. His rapping imo still sounded rather stilted, too. My favorite tracks are 24 and Come to Life. Melodic Donda was the best Donda imo.

24 and come to life for me are the best of his entire career alongside 808s and some off yeezus, along with never abandon your family and some other melodic donda sh. only ye s*** that really holds up for me anymore
