Nah 808s is regarded higher because of the influence it had on the genre/culture.

Yeah they both were hated at the beginning, but today Yeezus is really only mentioned by Ye Stans. While the general consensus among a wide range of fans is that 808s is a classic.

Yeezus came out in 2013 and it sounds like it could've came out yesterday. Out of his entire discography it sounds the most fresh. Easily his most timeless album
