808 a cult classic then too cause it was just as hated as Yeezus
Meanwhile Yeezus still going strong af streaming wise
They both classics. Yeezus highest rated album of that year
Nah 808s is regarded higher because of the influence it had on the genre/culture.
Yeah they both were hated at the beginning, but today Yeezus is really only mentioned by Ye Stans. While the general consensus among a wide range of fans is that 808s is a classic.
Ain't no way that this dude doesn't preview any new music at the fashion show on the 3rd
Yeezus is a REAL classic lmao
Nope lol has a couple classic songs tho
The tour was and rollout was memorable than the actual album itself, I’ll give you that.
And can’t forget the classic interviews

Yeezus had a lot of influence too. All them rage beats sound like a more polished / easier listenable version of On Sight. Plus, there is a really unbelievable amount of Black Skinhead knockoffs out there

Bro that s*** came out almost 10 years ago and it's still very fresh. It influenced enough artists in the last years also. I don't care anymore about other peoples opinion itt, it's obvious that this album is a classic and aged like fine wine already
I know so many people who hated Yeezus at first but now they're absolutely in love with this album. Thats a definition of a classic album
where was announcement i been behind
He didn't announce it in a big manner iirc, he just said Gap didn't want him to do it I think but he's still gonna do it.
Then he reaffirmed that it's still happening on Good Morning America.

God bless you. So excited
Yeezus came out in 2013 and it sounds like it could've came out yesterday. Out of his entire discography it sounds the most fresh. Easily his most timeless album
Is it just me or was Kanye having sessions with James Blake before every album and nothing ever came out of them?

I think it absolutely is a classic and looked at as one of the top albums of last decade, best album of 2013. 3.8 on rateuourmusic now
Kanye's first 5 albums are deemed "Classics".
"Yeezus" is close to being a classic.
"Pablo"/"Donda" are cult classics.
"ye"/"JIK" are duds, but very few people actually f*** with those records.

He barely had sessions with him in the past

Idk why you guys front like Pablo wasn’t his most popular album since 808s

I think Ye almost did a feature for Blake back in 2016
Idk why you guys front like Pablo wasn’t his most popular album since 808s
Popularity doesn't equate to the quality of the music.
If that was the case, all of Drakes records would be considered classics.
