This is spot on. As it stands currently, Donda 2 is his first real musical misstep to me. I’m anxious to see how Coachella is gonna go, he can right the ship if he shows up with finished verses but if it sounds like the listening party stick a fork in Donda 2.

How is Donda 2 less derivative and basic sounding than Donda? Besides maybe 2 songs that have potential but currently are still weak. Donda has so many hits
