I get your side of things but personally i believe that everything is a teaching opportunity and you can help your kids have a positive experience on things like social media. What can be worse I think is blocking your kids from that stuff then they go behind your back and do it and don’t tell you about it and it creates a rift in the relationship.

Kids are smarter now than ever and you gotta help and guide them through stuff because cutting them off will just make them understand it less and make the kids resent you possibly. It doesn’t actually protect them, even though I know that’s parents intention. My parents blocked me from a lot of stuff and I felt it inhibited my growth and made it harder for me to mature at a young age and so I had to do catch up later on in life
