Frank and Kendrick already mentioned. You said Isaiah too
Beach House
Vampire Weekend
Arcade Fire - last one was a miss I’ll admit
Lana del rey
Sturgill Simpson
Charli
Toro Y Moi
Car seat head rest
On what I said about Tame Impala and Bon Iver (not being top 5 since they came out not just last 10 years)
I’d also put MGMT, LCD Soundsystem, The xx over them

My fault young OG. I forgot we in a golden era. Mad classics be dropping back to back n s***.
Didn’t mean no disrespect
the only good contribution lana del rey did to music recently is being the cover of the next Pusha T classic and thats on god

not mad at these shouts either, besides VW
acts like Arcade Fire and Toro hold a lot of weight for the decade. I mentioned the queen Lana in my post yesterday, one of the best discogs of the decade in my humble opinion. Quality and quantity. Beach House in that same category too.

i am indeed a coke hoe and I can confirm this!
this can be stan talk, but I think Donda is a classic album, it has some songs that aren't as good but I feel like its just him breaking the mold of what is an album and giving everything to the kids like he did on Pablo
If you made it a 13 track out of it, It could easily compare to MBDTF
IT MIGHT SOUND CRAZY WHAT IM BOUT TO SAY!!
!https://youtu.be/ZbZSe6N_BXshe went nutzo with this one
Well this a much more reasonable stance than what we was discussing yesterday bro! Haha I feel you especially on the last paragraph. We let our intense love and adoration for generational artists like Ye put some much pressure on things sometimes. When there's been a standard for so long and you see it fading in real time, it's just a bit sad and confusing. Like we thought you'd be that nigga forever type s***. But it's happened time and time again, Ye isn't the first and damn sure not the last.
Yeah I only named K Dot, Zay, Noname as rappers but tbh I've shied away from the genre heavily. It hasn't been giving me that same feeling.
I feel you. Donda solidified it for me personally tho. I still think he’s that nigga.
I thought he wouldn’t be able to successful merge gospel and rap. Nobody ever did it.
He actually pulled it off, got legit classic songs on there in my opinion and I feel like you can make a strong debate it was the best album last year.
Of course, it’s bottom of his discography and he’s on a down slope compared to first 10 years. But that down slope is literally him coming down from the heavens lmao
