almost every song needs another verse
imagine if too easy had a rap part
by the time the songs are finished i feel like they will all be fleshed out. And of course, actual verses by ye. I just take everything back to donda rollout and it feels the same. Just go back to the verse on hurricane LP1 compared to what we got.

the question is how long will it take and will we get more listening parties
some of these lyrics are really horrible tho

they are too lucrative for him not to do more at this point. Going back to donda LP1 i felt the same way buy as each LP happened the newer/completed versions pushed the unfinished versions right out my mind.

good outlook
makes me optimistic
makes sense but who knows hope thats the case

If we can go from this to the final version of Hurricane within two months then I think anything is possible with these tracks. The more I listen, the more I'm feeling the energy behind this project. Can't wait for songs like True Love, Too Easy, Flowers, Happy and Get Lost to be fully realised

lowkey the not knowing makes it all the more exciting. and another good thing was that still to this day I go back and listen to earlier unfinished versions from donda on early LPs and they feel like completely different songs.

also i dont really like that its named donda 2
sequel albums almost never a good idea and it has 0 correlation to his mother, its just very messy to esp put the wife s*** on ur album when if we being fr if u ask any mother how they would feel if their husband was acting like this they wouldnt tolerate it
the censoring on here just f***s s*** up and doesnt make sense WHY is it called donda 2

damn that gives me a lot of hope
Just heard this album in full in a warehouse party.
This album def will be better than Donda 1 when it's done
I’m interested to see what Ojivolta does with the tracks. Donda 1 turned out great in the end.
I’m still really hesitant about the straightforward trap songs on this (Pablo, happy, burn) honestly they all feel like throw away to me and not up to the creative standard at all.
However there are handful of songs with massive potential if they get more fleshed out with better song structure and verses. Some great vibes
I wonder if pete says some s*** during weekly update on snl 🤔
SNL said they will not invite kanye or mention his name ever again (lol). So I doubt it
the cultural impact of hoagiefest cannot be understated

Real.
It's okay for there to be sequel albums.
Like Freddie's "Pinata" & "Bandana".
Which are two stellar records that are clearly reminiscent of one another, but are their own animal at the same time.
Opposed to direct sequels where it's incredibly hard to recapture the magic of the original record.
He should've kept the "With Child" concept since the record's mainly about being with his kids for the most part & fixing a broken marriage.
That said, there are some great sequel albums out there.
I personally think Nas with the "Kings Disease" series is his best work since "Stilmatic"& each iteration's better than the last.

Man great point. This sounds like such a rough demo now looking back
