I did. Admittedly tho I got into them super late, like a few months before FOTB. I've struggled to get into a lot of their earlier stuff.

Seems like now that he got the dumb deadline out the way, he’s actually getting serious about refining the album. With Beach House and Jamie Foxx in the studio? I expect the album to be fully finished and released by Coachella.

It took them forever to drop it, they def weren’t on autopilot but they were doing some soul searching at the time and it reflected on the project.

Yeah I def get that feeling their past work is def a hit or miss for a lot of reasons. And you kinda summed up my main thing against FOB, they wanted to please everyone with a more "mainstream" sound and it was too blatant (but hey if you liked it good for u )
