thought he was great when i first got into his music, but then i realized he has no good albums outside of 808s, Dark Fantasy, and Yeezus

Even though the album is still unfinished, getting a new update everyday via the Stem Player with new versions of songs to listen to in CDQ has made for a really cool and fun rollout

every leaked demo of JIK album songs sounded better than the final versions did

most mumble demos Kanye performs or gets leaked sound better than the final versions do nowadays

he’s just singing with pure emotion on the mumbles, and it’s up to the listener to interpret the meaning. i find that beautiful.

but when he has someone else write lyrics to those melodies, he has difficulty translating that to convey that same level of emotion.

and the censoring doesn’t help either.
