Like I keep saying this album is TBD. I don’t understand reviewing something that’s not even close to done, especially lyrically. It is obviously not meant to be taken as done. Now, idk the advantage Kanye gains by introducing his music in live time as it’s coming together. Maybe he makes a good score each listening party. Maybe it helps him hone in on something at this stage of his career. Maybe he likes to test certain things in stadiums and in front of audiences. Maybe he thinks even in its current state, it’s fun to throw into a stemplayer for people to mess around with…but one thing is clear, he’s not intending this as a finalized version. Who knows but Kanye is definitely a process guy. I even think hes said so in interviews. Is it indulgent? Probably.

Now in its current state, if this was it, it’s a huge disappointment. But obviously songs will be filled in and be built to the potential we hear. I’m just trying not to overlisten this time leading into a finalized version.
