They said sizzy went full joker mode last night

Joker isn't even ripping off Scorsese that much, its just lazy criticism. The movie has issues but I'd attack it from like... oh, the stalker plotline was underdeveloped. The Thomas Wayne subplot didn't reach its full potential.
All in all, I think it's a good movie, with some great moments. Not without its flaws.

It's like when people wanna criticize Force Awakens and they just parrot everyone by saying its a copy of A New Hope. That's not the problem. The problem is it's a copy of every action movie of the last 20 years, just shuffling you along to the next scene without taking a moment to build character.
All in all, I think that movie is generic as all hell.
