frenchpressyeah it's called marketing. buy this, and you get this for free! been a tactic since the 2nd half of the 20th century. how it works though is that you gotta be at least interested in the main product to begin with. no one is spending $200 for the Free Thing gimmick, especially not when they can just pirate it, which they know they can do, because they've been on the internet for more than 10 minutes. u stop the bullshit
