This post and the amount of likes it got is kinda sad.

All the black leaders throughout history that we venerate understood that black liberation is absolutely political. The black panther party was literally a political party, MLK was political, Malcolm was political, Mandela was literally a politician etc etc.

Unfortunately in the American consciousness (and elsewhere too for that matter, in their own way) politics means nothing more than whether you vote red or blue every couple of years. That's something that has to change if we actually wanna see progress.

All the black American leaders that you mention either started their OWN party or aligned with politicians from both sides to further our people. Yes, using politics is necessary. However, there isn’t a political party or ideology that equates to BLACK. None.

The point of my post is attributing black prosperity to democrats or republicans is f***ing ed. There was a comment that said Maga Ye is dead. He’s liberal again. No he is not being a liberal or republican with anything he said in this speech. However, to execute his plans in said speech he will have to use people from both sides to do so.

I'm still amazed at how good Donda turned out to be if you told me Kanye West was gonna drop a 23 song project after JIK & Ye I would've said damn this s*** bout to stink but it didn't stink it smelled like lavender and I am grateful for that.
