Ok lil moron lets make this clear so you don't think you know more than me

Kanye's no more parties in la is from mbdtf era after that he asked kendrick for a verse during the yeezus tour

kanye already had an unfinished verse in it

in 2016 he decided to release a snippet of the song

but the actual snippet was actually just the kendrick verse and his unfinished verse from 2010/2011

he did this so he could pressure himself and give himself a date to write and release a verse that could compete with kendrick so he announced the release of the song in a Good Friday on soundcloud

he wrote the freestyle in the plane and recorded it as soon as he arrived

years later a moron on ktt2 with an avi of a homeless dude said it was trash and it wasn't a freestyle

and then I schooled him

Just cause a rap doesn’t have a “concrete” (whatever that means) structure or theme doesn’t mean it’s a freestyle, that’s a very subjective thing and you’re just stretching a term in an attempt to justify why ye can’t flow

Long verses are also very common in non freestyle songs in classic rap, NY State Of Mind has a concrete theme and has 2 long ass verses.

At the end of the day freestyles still have flow lol they might not have a topic or structure but there was never anything about freestyles not having slowed now sure where you got that one

Nah, Yeezus and Pablo and JIK production is just as good if not better as the first 5 actually, it’s just Kanye’s vocals mostly that fell off and sound embarrassing/amateur/half assed mostly

we clearly have two complete definitions of freestyle

and freestyles have flows of course just not structured ones ( thats why I used that drake freestyle as an example )

freestyle's are raw, just bars mixed together, not worrying about song structure and s***

a lot of people confuse spitting something of the dome with a freestyle and I think thats what you're doing

but I cant be that mad at you because a lot of you have that misconception, like for example in my country we call an off the dome freestyle an "improviso" but you don't use the term improv for rap I think, and a normal freestyle "freestyle"

somewhere along the way people started mixing freestyle with "off the dome" tho

Actually, I think Kanye sounds fine vocally on yeezus, but with Pablo and beyond yeah it almost sounds like he forgot how to rap. I see your point for sure

It’s not about mixing it up it’s about the word having a couple different meanings

My issue with NMPILA isn’t that the flow isn’t structured or concrete, it’s that Kanye blatantly fumbles it and stumbles over his words. You can call it a freestyle but it’s a terrible one

I really like it for the things you think are flaws, the rawness of it, from a rapper that always tried to perfect everything, to just go back and write bars and spit them was extremely refreshing for kanye
