I think theres a clear shift in the mentality of Ye on the album in the first half to the second, but rarely do albums ever actually have a “narrative” like we would be accustomed to from a film or TV show

when the WTT guys say that JIK has a chiastic structure I just wonder if Kanye ever cared about any sort of narrative and just put songs together that sounded good in their place
