FlyMxListened back to the audio from the stream for the second time. It’s still so funny how different the experience was in the arena, at least for me, compared to the stream but imo after another listen, upon release, this will definitively be the best project he has dropped post yeezus. Even the tracks he wasn’t on vocally are still pretty incredible as is. Only thing I would honestly change is extending that pop smoke record and add a verse from Ye and some crazy drums to it cause it was torture standing in the arena expecting for that s*** to just drop but it never did lol even the record about losing his family still translates emotionally despite it being mostly mumbles. Going back to add concrete lyrics may actually take away from the magic and vulnerability of it. My favorite record is still remote another track that is essentially mostly mumbling but somehow that s*** just works lol that melody is just to fire but man I love how contemporary this album sounds sonically. There’s so much nuance here and I love how live it sounds and experimental it is . Feels almost like a rock record

StepdaddyJunya is staying. The stadium really was loving that one. Not really my cup of tea but the youths seemed to really like it. Maybe it will grow on me

Nah but this legit 💯💯💯 Good sources are saying the following: that wasn’t the entire album. Kanye apparently stopped abruptly after the Jay track because he “felt the intense energy” of the crowd after that track. He’s going back to the studio to record the finished verses (no mumbling) and dropping tonight. Apparently he was feeding off of the energy and that last reaction put him in the zone. What we’re going to get tomorrow/Saturday will he absolutely insane. He’s fired up tonight.
