I feel bad for Kanye tbh. If he cant get his s*** together on an album dedicated to his mom, when the f*** can he?
The Life Of Pablo
The album he played was the same one he released then he made tweaks after
Roc Marci invented
That was gonna be my next post lol
I was gonna say there’s already a bunch of artists doing that
He's really the new Tory
I liked the Keem, Travis, Don Toliver and Vory feats
Idk what Kanye doing on this album tho
Hoping for another delay is pointless. Kanye would rather use this time to open up forty new skeletons of songs and rearrange them in twelve different ways than actually take his time to polish ten best songs he has in vault.
I'm afraid this might be the case. Maybe Rubin can steer him the other way, though.
Honestly, it's kind of shocking that nobody (Push, Mike Dean, Cudi, literally anyone) who heard this told him what you just said. Maybe they did and he just didn't listen. I don't know.
Don Toliver is insane
he gonna be all over the radio once life of a don the album he got comes
If Kanye doesn't work on this for at least another month, it's an L. Assuming this is what we're getting. If he actually takes the time and just puts in some effort, it could be one of his best projects to date.
The energy on this feels right, and a lot of the concepts are promising. It's pretty clear that it isn't even close to finished, though. Drums are straight up missing from several tracks, Kanye is barely rapping, some of the singing is truly terrible, and it just feels like it has ... no teeth? Like, it doesn't need to be Yeezus, but every track just ... ends without a climax. There's this build-up of tension, and then it fades. S*** obviously isn't finished.
I'm convinced that Kanye is so spoiled by labels at this point that even a listening party means nothing to him. Apparently the Vegas party had totally different songs than this, which leads me to believe that he still has no idea what the final cut is going to look like.
SO: we have an album that is named for his mom, but she's barely discussed on it. We have a rap album with almost no bars. We have a trap album that refuses to go crazy despite seeming as though it desperately wants to.
There's the skeleton for something great here, but it needs substance, and that's going to take more than a day or two.
Exactly

He released it unfinished, and even added new songs, and had to correct the mix, lol

seems like he lost any artistic integrity

Rick Rubin the only man that can save us now

Seems like he made a bunch of music he likes to listen to, and then realized a week ago that it’s his album and that he has to actually be on the songs too lol
