this was pretty much all different songs
that one dude from the wse discord was saying it was completely different
honestly i doubt it
I have to say it, this album was f***ing great and i don’t know how there was so much hate in the live thread. i was almost in tears when the track about losing his family with the Donda quote repeating itself, transitioned in to Hurricane. that s*** was amazing. it really all feels like an update on kanye’s life, in his own weird way.
i’m not even a big kanye d*** rider, some of the vocals were messy, the album had some more boring parts to it, but he kept it f***ing real with this one. the contrast to JIK is so wild to me. it’s such an odd choice for this to be the Donda album, but i love that. i understand more where he’s at now, and it really feels full circle from the at least the Yandhi era.
this album felt incredibly introspective. kanye reflecting on himself, his family, his success. peoples critique of too many features might be missing the point? idk. might be weird. but i see the vision and the angle kanye might be going for.
sold out stadium, empty stage vibes.
yall gotta stop praising an album that hasnt even dropped jesus christ you d***riding f***ers
the whistling on remote control kinda hard tho
In other news how great baby and durk sounded on this plus the recent young boy ft on tylers s*** shows that what a lot of these new acts need to reach the next level is more experimental production
There’s no way in hell this album is coming in 15 minutes
I bet you he hasn't even bounced the stems to Mike Dean to mix yet LOL
blasphemy by 2pac is a better gospel track than whatever prosperity gospel megachurch d***riding s*** ye does anyway
I REMEMBA WHAT MY POPS TOLD ME
N N N NOT THAT WONT KILL ME S*** IS WILD OVERRATED AND I LITERALLY GREW UP ON GRADUATION
I NEBVER LIKED HARDER BETTER FASTER MY ONLY SKIP ON DISCOVERY
Sucks we can’t make more jokes about the title of the album without it entering incredibly dark territory
Why you gotta use the dead emote smh
Stronger the most cringe Ye hit of all time. Unlistenable in 2021
MIGHT BE THE ONLY OUTDATED KANYE SONG IDK WHY PPL LOVE IT SO MUCH LOL
real niggas listened to JIK once
Haven't listened since. Follow God got a couple spins
what the f*** were the people in las vegas listening to? they were gassing this s*** to infinity
definitely wasn’t the same version
That was like all one complete moment for me b I'm gonna have to really listen in CDQ to really grasp the album b
the high coming down b? or you blazed one post show?
listening to that song that starts with the lyrics saying "sell my soul" or whatever. that song is beautiful. could be an absolute masterpiece of a song with better mixing and a chorus. the piano is gorgeous. he needs to go back to the drawing board and make more songs in this vein
