i feel like every album is a concept album. every album has a concept and things naturally follow a heros journey. but people make up re tarded storylines to help them think the music is super omg deep. tlop is an amazing album doe its some modern art

The bonus tracks were announced as bonus tracks in the first press release the weekend it came out. That's how the narrative started and why it's credible.
Personally, I think of the album as a representation and prolonging of the Madison Square Garden listening experience. They are bonus tracks, but in this case they fit the concept of the album, and are therefore part of the album. I'm pretty sure that's what Kanye ended up going for, and why the initial bonus track press release disappeared within a couple days.

Life of Pablo is built as a moment in time. It's very of that moment, but it's somehow aging very well. In fact, it doesn't age. It still feels as fresh as when it came out.
Donda, meanwhile, has deeper, more universal passages despite its current relevance. Nonetheless, I'm not sure which is better.
