First TakeHas there ever been an album thats the only album in its genre nominated for AOTY lose its genre nomination. Like how Donda is up for AOTY and is the only rap album nominated for that. Shouldnt that mean he wins RAOTY

unfortunately i think rap AOTY will go to j cole as he's the safest option in the field and from an industry perspective he kinda got snubbed in 2020 by not winning for middle child or revenge of the dreamers 3. igor was clearly a much better album but artists like j cole who get heavy label/media/industry promo and support always get their due eventually. just like drake losing for views then winning for scorpion.
