glassrainbowYeah the idea of the album is so antiquated. There are other ways to consume music the industry should be focused more on EPs I think. gives you album structure but more succinct, you don’t have to worry about padding out with filler. not really a problem in Kanye’s case but for newer artists labels are pushing
I just think it teaches artists focus and allows them to prioritize quality with the amount of tracks they have more attention to detail as they prepare themselves for full lengths. Kanye bloating the Donda tracklist was 100% for streams tho
