He needs a tour to get back on track imo. Actually be forced to practice songs over and over and work on set up and stage. His solo shows are 30+ songs deep which is a way different ball park than SS

The last time he toured he had a major breakdown tho (although most of that speech wasnt that weird for Ye imo, he said weirder s*** in 2018), so i think he's not looking forward to a tour. His manager said there was a tour coming but not in the original sense right? Prob means there comes some performance art like at the listening parties

In terms of him getting back to peak performance quality that’s not gonna cut it. Even a festival season run would help more than that. He seems like he’s itching to actually perform again

Pablo tour had a lot of factors colliding together before the breakdown I don’t think that’s an automatic repeat incident. Just a couple weeks prior to his breakdown his wife was robbed at gunpoint, he was going through issues in his personal relationships and it was around the time of his mothers death. He needed a break in general but instead was working harder than ever and not sleeping much. A limited and stretched out tour could work imo but idk if that’s what he’s looking for anymore

Tbh the only church I've seen be 100% about the love thy neighbor stuff is a nondenominational down the street from me. They regularly have black lives matter signs out front (in an older white/asian neighborhood), and they had a lil display out front with Jesus inside a chain link "cage" to criticize the handling of the border situation recently

Neither here nor there, but other than a handful of forced lines on Donda (like at the end of Junya, for example), I thought that the spiritual themes were very well integrated into a whole lot of topics. That imo is what makes Donda a special album.
