That doesn’t honor him the way he think he does. And I get the whole “well his family will benefit from streams” argument but it’s probably the most skipped song on the entire project
So atleast add some HEAT with Pop Smoke if that was the end goal.I get not liking the song or finding it boring, but there's a lot more than it being a tribute as far as its placement on the album. It fits the concept. God we made it, mama we made it, lyrics about violence spoken from a young black man whose life was cut short by violence. These themes run throughout the album, only now they're spoken from heaven, where Donda is, where Kanye could have been.
