JonboiThat white professor dude who a***yzes Ye is somewhat cool but I feel bad for him cause u can see hes clearly coping with how he doesn’t like parts of the album. It’s sort of uncomfortable to watch, it’s like he has this genius ideal of Kanye and you can see the frustration in him when he has to read off “Reaching for the stars like Buzz Lightyear”.
Part of appreciating Ye is coming to understand that there are some areas of life where he's legitimately dumb, but everyone's like that really
This album is definitely a last-minute cram kind of deal and definitely not something as intricately plotted out as LR or MBDTF, but the end result is really good and relistenable and that's all I care about, I'm just glad to have a Kanye album that does a lot for me for the first time in a while
