like for example
imagine the clear concept and punch of a short album like Yeezus, now imagine the concept behind Donda... harder to do eh? And as you progress through it you've reached so many different thoughts, feelings and sounds that it's hard to zoom out and see the bigger picture... it sucks you into its black hole and just lets you soak in each track for the time being and then spits you out again into the next moment
Haven't had an album scream out for relistens so hard in ages, I want to experience the sonic journey here over and over again, there's so much different stuff, I always get very strong visual associations with albums and to me it's like exploring different parts of a huge underground church structure
