shaq definitely lost me with this one lmao
Thread was poppin because of Anthony fantano but everyone complain about "scores" after
Come on now
he was just listening to it not reviewing it, even then Atleast you could see in real-time that he actually listened to it. These white publications haven’t listened anything from Donda

In my head I’m gonna pretend like jail, come to life, believe what I say & pure souls outro is the whole album so that it’s a 10/10
Manson's stuff is infuriating, because Kanye probably chickened out or came to his senses in the last moment and switched it back to Jay Z's version.
Now, the reception of the record is suffering because of some bonus track.
Imagine calling anything trash when you turn up to Tom McDonald’s
Holy s*** that’s nice
Still love the version on the record though

I prefer album version, sounds more climactic then the og’s chill vibe. But it’s really dope blaccmass did the edit so we could hear how it sounds
Blaccmass pls stop, it's been three years

Totally.
If anything it might make some people realize what we got is ultimately the best version
Love the OG beat but it is a little bloated percussion wise and the darker vibe of final version just fits the album way more
I don't like Off the Grid, probably because of the drill beat, totally not the style of music that I enjoy:(

off the grid is hard
here goes my ranking:
1. Graduation - perfect synthesis of any Kanye album, incorporates everything that makes me love Ye.
2. MBDTF - This cannot be anything but #1 or #2. It's pretty much flawless. Kanye is just a little less likeable on it, so it goes to #2
3. College Dropout - Great storytelling and production, extra points for coming out the gate this strong
4. 808 - high concept, game changer - would be higher but feels disrespectful to do that to the above three.
5. Yeezus - high concept, near perfect execution, would have been #2 if the lyrics were flawless.
6. LR - too similar to CD but not as good, nothing against the album, but its not electrifying.
7. TLOP - best album from the fall off era. the rollout factors into the final product for me. Wild times.
8. JIK - surprisingly good, love how concise it is, suffers from bad / limiting lyrics.
9. Donda - amazing production, even the dated stuff is less dated and more nostalgic, perfect melodies from Ye, poor lyrics, dogshit features for the most part, 0 quality control.
10. Ye - I like 3 out of 7 songs. Only love 1 of them. That makes it the worst out of the line up.
