God breathed:​

sub bass is tamed with a limiter

bit crusher on Kanye vocals

vory sounds like he has Mike dean treatment

the sample from the OG now fits better

choir now is not overtaking the whole mix

due to there being a stereo spread adding more ceiling to it.

sounds like there is an additional bass in parts that sounds wet (yes that is a mixing term)

underneath the sub

kanye vocals need heavy work

vocals haven’t changed very much

instruments like drums and bass are more apparent

breathing synth vox thingy is now more apparent in the mix

heart beat Monitor is now mixed better so it doesn’t sound out of place

808s bass resampled since they aren’t so intrusive they are more subby now

the telephone vocal outro thing transition is updated with a sweep

but still sounds out of place

Ok Ok:​

Distorted 808s are now more apparent

along with the detuned loop, it also stops and comes back into the instrumental

Kanye sounds like he has COVID but has a better mixed vocals
hums are now more in time with the bass

he also sounds great.

lil yachty is now mixed better

he has ad libs on ye‘s last verse

Come to life:​

synths pads are more apparent, as well as the sample

There is a phase on the piano now so it goes like ear to ear

guitar is turned down slightly.

makes it sound so much more powerful

his syllables are more aggressive possibly parrell compressed??

Believe what I say:​

You can still faintly hear the piano on Lauryn Hill’s sample
But her vocals are more present due to a compressor.

Bass isn’t so fat anymore more subby

But kick drum sounds resampled And is a lot louder

Lauryn’s backing vocals are now much quieter

On “man it’s to early” part
The backing vocals are mixed very well with a directional mixer

After that there is a new tambourine heard with the kick drum
Throughout the track

Synth Pad is more apparent in the mixing

when Kanye says “nail me to the cross with long nails like coco”

The beat stops on coco and on the next syllable comes back

There is also a new female vocal heard harmonising with Kanye on the
“One last sparkle” part

On the sample part where the guy literally gives us 30 minute monologue

Lauryn Hill’s Ooo’S are filtered then they come back when after
“my back ain’t against the wall”

They sound like they are rising from the “holy water”

Very happy with these changes.

choir is abruptly cut at the end that s*** they do at the end usually goes for another bar

I love 24 but it don't do much for me in that way
its more of an anthem than something that really hits home and that I feel deep in my soul

not really a fan of the super layered tracks that are common in the first half of the album. a song like jesus lord pt 2 is great to me because it's just kanye rapping

will have this on replay today i didn't really follow much of the rollout because of how chaotic it was, but i'm surprised with how much i like this album
