because saying something like this is ignorant
its transphobic ofc but it comes from a place of ignorance at its core
generally I at least try and let people learn rather than just banning cause I think that just banning off rip just drives people like that further into their views instead of addressing that ignorance
I also think theres a distinction between someone asking him what he thinks about transgender people and him saying it and him actively trying to make a platform for that viewmaybe thats a controversial take on it and feel free to tell me the issue w it but I know that people can get trapped in s*** like the alt right pipeline and I dont think that the way to get them out of it is to disengage from them entirely like that
