My man really had Marilyn Manson (a predator with a really abusive history) and DaBaby (a man who literally assaults people and made homophobic comments and doubled down on it) stand in front of a recreation of his childhood home to “tribute” his mom. This is not sitting well with me and many people at all. I don’t get what happened in the past couple of weeks from LP2 to this because this is downright embarrassing.Are y’all really okay with settling for less as well and are fine with our favorite features being REMOVED? (Pusha T, Kid Cudi, Jay Z, Kaycyy, etc.) as well as the disrespect on remote that we got a meme from 2018 sampled on it.

Like come on guys, I am a Kanye d***rider like the rest of y’all but stop pretending that last night was even better than the last with the bs everyone is going through right now with this s***. Disrespectful to his mom, the victims of sexual assault, and the fans who already had an album that practically finished to be slapped in the face when key elements are removed and replaced with s***.
(P.S. Don’t come here with that bs theory of “he surrounded himself with sinners,” that doesn’t make it okay. Especially on this “Christian Rebirth” and “honoring” his mother)
Yeah, I agree with you, some elements of it feel nightmarish, like you have a fever dream in which Jay Z is swapped with Da Baby, Kid Cudi with a meme, Kanye is standing the with the person who is accused of rape, nothing looks uplifting at all and somehow that should be an album dedicated to his mom.
In Kanye's defence I can only say that we as fans put too much weight on this album's name, Kanye had t shirts with Donda in TLOP era. He likes his mom, but 808 is a real album dedicated to Donda. Remember how in Yeezus era he had some dude portray Jesus, I think Kanye said that Jesus is his friend, and he doesn't want a God that he is afraid of, I think the same with Donda. His mother is a very dear person to him, and he is not afraid to make a wrong choice.
